What is a Claude website?
A Claude website is a site built using Anthropic’s Claude AI to generate the code and the first draft of the content, then reviewed, corrected and finished by a person before it goes live.
The appeal is obvious. Claude writes clean HTML and CSS extremely fast, which collapses a build that used to take six weeks into a few days. That is why a one page Claude website in Sydney costs $799 + GST instead of the $2,500 a traditional designer would quote, and why an unlimited page site costs $2,999 + GST instead of five figures.
The catch is equally obvious once you have audited a few. AI will confidently produce a site that looks finished and is invisible to Google. It does not know your suburb, it does not know your competitors, and it will not tell you that it just canonicalised every page to your homepage.
That gap is the whole service. You are not paying me to prompt an AI. You are paying for the decade of SEO consulting that tells me which parts of the output to throw away.

Say you are a plumber, an electrician, a mobile mechanic, a cleaner or an NDIS provider covering 30 suburbs across Sydney. To rank for “plumber Parramatta” and “plumber Blacktown” and the other 28, you need a real page for each one. Not a dropdown. Not a list of suburb names in the footer. A page.

Claude websites vs Lovable, WordPress and template shops
People ask how this compares to the other ways to get a site built cheaply, so here is the honest version.
Versus Lovable and other AI builders. Lovable is genuinely good at generating an app-like site quickly, but the SEO problems are well documented. Versus WordPress. WordPress is still the right answer for content-heavy sites with multiple editors and a plugin ecosystem you rely on. It is slower to build and heavier to load. If that is what you need, I build on it too, through my standard Sydney website design service.
Versus a freelance WordPress developer. A good freelancer builds something bespoke and maintainable, and I list the best freelance WordPress developers in Sydney if that is the route you want. Expect AUD 4,000 to AUD 12,000 and a few weeks rather than a few days.
Versus a $500 template shop. A template is a design, not a strategy. You get a nice-looking page with no keyword mapping, no location structure and whatever SEO settings shipped with the theme. It is cheaper for a reason.

Are AI-built websites good for SEO?
Google does not penalise a page for being written or built with AI. Its guidance judges content by whether it is helpful and original, not by how it was produced.
What Google does punish, indirectly and reliably, is what tends to come with careless AI builds: thin duplicate pages, unrenderable JavaScript, broken canonicals and content that answers nothing. Those are build failures, not AI failures.
